Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to accounting functions and customer service. You'll be using your skills to maintain accurate customer records, process credit applications, and handle customer inquiries within a dynamic team environment.Responsibilities: Handle and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and update customer credit records regularly. Use accounting software systems to manage and track customer accounts. Carry out account payable functions including auditing and accrual accounting. Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and detail oriented manner. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) for transactions. Conduct reconciliation of financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Prepare regular reports on account status and present them to the management. Collaborate with team members to achieve set objectives and maintain high customer service standards. Please note that the job responsibilities may change based on the department's needs and company's evolving requirements. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Demonstrated experience in Accounting Functions. Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary. Auditing skills are required. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is desired.
