Description Robert Half is currently working with a client in need of an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong skills in B2B collections, cash applications, payment posting, and related tasks. If you have an outstanding work ethic, attention to detail, and love problem solving, we are looking for you.Responsibilities:
Handle B2B collections, getting in touch with customers to manage outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies
Oversee and maintain all accounts receivable ledger accounts
Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
Identify areas to optimize the accounts receivable process
Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable
Prior experience in B2B collections, cash applications, and payment posting
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for handling customer relations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and accounting software
