ABOUT THE ROLE As an Advanced Cloud Application Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technical excellence within our Cloud Development team. By working within a team of skilled cloud developers, you will contribute to the successful design, development, and deployment of highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions for our customers globally. In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cloud-based applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. Develop and manage Azure Infra-as-Code using ARM/Bicep or Terraform for cloud database provisioning and management
Deploy and configure Kubernetes pods using Helm charts deployments
Design and implement Azure network topologies, including App Gateway configurations, DNS record management, firewall management, and certificate management
Ensure cloud solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards
Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and best practices
Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
5+ years of experience in cloud-based application
Knowledge of Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments
Experience with Azure network topologies, App Gateway configurations, DNS record management, firewall management, and CA certificate management
Working Knowledge of Azure Function Apps and Azure Data Factory
Experience with Databricks or related Data Mgmt technologies(Hadoop, Snowflake etc)
WE VALUE
Advanced Engineering degree in a relevant field
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with release engineering processes and orchestration configuration (GH actions)
Knowledge of logging and monitoring configuration
Knowledge of Cost management, server scaling, job configuration and monitoring
