Job Description

Responsibilities:

Main Objective
  • An Agile Coach to assist with their Agile Transformation efforts.
  • Supports teams responsible for delivering value to internal/external customers in various lines of businesses. This individual will be engaged with 3 teams (on average).
  • The program is working a “Train the Trainer” model, and eventually will be scaling to Programs/Portfolios.
  • He/She/They will have the opportunity to perform both Team Level Coaching and Enterprise Level Coaching with Senior Management. Previously, have worked within software engineering practices such as test-driven development and improving the application development processes.

Day to Day
  • Coach and support the business teams in establishing the project vision and preparing the backlog.
  • Delivering projects using agile practices such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe etc.
  • Mentoring the project teams for implementing agile practices.
  • Continuously measure and report the progress of teams and organizational units in meeting their goals
  • Conduct workshops on agile related topics

Must Haves
  • 12-15 years of overall Project Management experience, and at least 4 years of recent Agile Coaching/Implementation/Execution
  • Experience in LeSS (or be in training for it)
  • Must have worked in Financial/Banking and Fortune 500 companies
  • Solid understanding of Lean concepts
  • Experience in agile related tools like JIRA, Rally, or equivalent tools
  • Knowledge in DevOps, SOA, Java Framework and automation tools
  • Proficiency in Confluence, JIRA, ALM, SonarQube, Junit, Selenium, Java, Javascript, Java Scripting, Java Best Practices, Maven, Jenkins, UFT, SQL, Cucumber, Gherkin, TDD
  • Great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • SCRUM Coach, SCRUM Master, SaFE, Product Owner Certifications
