The Analyst Demand Planning II is responsible for providing all-over support to the Demand Planning & Business Analytics team working closely with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance. The Analyst will utilize multiple data sources to provide critical insights in support of maximizing sales and minimizing inventory. The Analyst will support the demand planners in creating and maintaining forecasts and demand signals.

  • Load, maintain, and utilize HBI systems (including SAS and EMS) to ensure they properly support Activewear forecasting processes.
  • Enter and maintain demand signals to support business needs and avoid over/under shipments.
  • Participate in creating sales plans by category/brand/account.
  • Serve as the communication link between cross functional areas.
  • Roll up total unit and dollar summaries of seasonal demand against the OPC and prior years.
  • Analyze shipment, POS, commitment, and cancel data to make recommendations on TILs, make/drop decisions, and surplus inventory.
  • Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of managing multiple data sources and provide business insight based on analysis and communication of sales, inventory, productivity, service level reporting, sell-through and other key financial metrics.
  • Assist management in identifying improvement opportunities, POS trends, supply/demand mismatches, etc.
  • Review and update the Activewear forecasting system, processes, techniques, and methods to support continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
  • Obtain, analyze, interpret, and disseminate key information that identifies road blocks in satisfying customer expectations.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred concentration in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other quantitative business discipline) and 2-4 years business/analytical experience.
  • Prior forecasting and planning support and analysis experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational, oral and written
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with effective outside-the-box thinking.
  • Results oriented.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Preferred experience with SAS and other reporting/analytical tools.
