Are you a farmer in the US or Canada? ($250 research session)

Global Design company IDEO, www.ideo.com/about, is talking to farmers in the US and Canada to learn how you deal with equipment—buying it, fixing it, and keeping things running when it really counts. Maybe you tinker with your own machines, rely on a trusted mechanic, or have a story about a breakdown at the worst possible time. We want to hear from you! (You do not need to prepare anything beforehand).

Who: Farmers, new and experienced, in the US and Canada

What: One or more research activities which could include the following:

- 60-minute remote or in-person research interview

- Remote diary study

Where:

- Remote research interview: Virtually via zoom (US & Canada)

- Remote diary study: remotely via the dscout platform (US & Canada)

- In-person sessions (US):

- North Carolina

- Tennessee

- Midwest Region

- Northeast Region

When:

- Remote research interview: June 30th - July 3rd, 2025

- Remote diary study: June 30th - July 11th, 2025

- In-person sessions:

- North Carolina & Tennessee: July 7th - 11th, 2025

- Midwest and Northeast Regions: TBD

Compensation (upon completion of activity):

- Remote or in-person interview: $250

- Remote diary study: $125
