Southern Shores Realty is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our vacation rental homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This is a full-time/year-round position.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department

- Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards

- Inspect homes to ensure that they are clean, organized, and well-maintained

- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that any repairs or maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner

- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality setting

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to work weekends

- Experience with Streamline VRS and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
