Description The Associate Business Analyst supports the analysis, documentation, and communication of business requirements to enable the development of custom applications and solutions. This role works closely with business stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams to gather, refine, and translate business needs into actionable insights.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in gathering and documenting business needs, processes, and workflows related to custom applications.

Work with program managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, functional requirements, and non-functional expectations.

Support the prioritization of analysis and development activities to align with business goals.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and requirements workshops to understand system needs.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, solution architects, and developers to ensure system designs align with business objectives.

Assist in cross-functional collaboration to facilitate effective solution development.

Provide basic training and documentation support for developed solutions.

Work alongside the quality assurance team to ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements.

Support communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout development.

Assist in obtaining approvals and stakeholder buy-in for development projects.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a curiosity for understanding business needs.

Basic knowledge of business or systems analysis.

Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to facilitate meetings and engage with cross-functional teams.

Experience in creating user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation is a plus.
