Whether our customers are accelerating life sciences research, solving sophisticated analytical challenges,or improving patient diagnostics and therapies , we are here to support them.Location/Division Specific InformationHigh Point, NC / Pharma Services GroupHow will you make an impact?With your strong background in electrical controls, automation strategies, and project management, you will be responsible for the design, development and integration of new equipment and electrical controls technologies as well as maintaining and upgrading existing technologies. These technologies will focus on improving productivity and efficiency.What will you do?

Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical equipment in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility.

Maintain and support daily operations from an electrical and controls standpoint.

Conduct analysis of existing manufacturing performance and identify areas of improvement / opportunities.

Development and justification of new technology proposals. Presentation of these plans to management groups.

Concept to completion project management of new technologies.

How will you get here?

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent work experience will be considered. Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a bonus.

Project management experience

Proficient with Rockwell hardware: CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLC’s, PanelView Plus HMI’s

Proficient with Rockwell software Studio 5000, FT View ME, RS Linx CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLC’s, PanelView Plus HMI’s

Knowledge in Rockwell legacy hardware and software: SLC-500/RS Logix 500

Automated equipment design and development experience including electrical controls

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to write and present high-level technical strategies that address current and future business needs

Ability to read and create electrical drawings

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Knowledgeable with engineering software: AutoCAD,, RS Logix, Factory Talk Batch, Factory Talk Historian

Familiarity in Ethernet networking

Good understanding of Statistics, Geometry
