Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Business Administration Travel Percentage : 15 - 25%About the teamAs a Project manager, you will join a talented and experienced Banking Delivery team, working for and with clients within EuropeWhat you will be doingIn this position you will manage resources, timelines, and budgets for existing clients with a focus on the upgrade cycle from the initial upgrade scoping through to the successful delivery and transition to client services. The successful candidate will be required to manage both the managed upgrade and onsite upgrade processes:Manage the client relationship and expectations while developing relationships at a senior level.  Ensure work outside the Statement of Work is communicated to the appropriate departmentsAct as liaison between Client Services, Development, Product Management and Account Management.Create weekly status reports including updates to milestones, budgets, action items and resource schedules.Review and adhere to client's contract including strict adherence to the change management policies outlined in the Statement of Work.Documenting client requirements for change requests.Develop and maintain a revenue forecastEnsure accuracy of client invoices.Coordinate all project activities and act as the liaison for the clients functional and IT teams with all necessary FIS departments.Report high level project status to senior client team members via regularly held Steering Committee meetings. Work closely with Sales and Account managementWhat you bring:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelinesKnowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project applicationKnowledge of financial services industryAdvanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools, such as earned value database, audit tools, project repository, including risk, issues and action items database,  Metrics and Control, PlanViewDemonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelinesSkill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreement when there are widely-differing viewpointsExcellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with executive level clientsAbility to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team membersAbility to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in natureAdded bonus if you have: Knowledge of company’s products and services – Payments and payment cycles.Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six SigmaWhat we offer youFull-time position with excellent benefitsStimulating, entrepreneurial environment within an ambitious global firmPotential to growRespect for your work/life balanceGreat work spaces with dedicated and motivated colleagues#LI-FD1Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
