Bilingual Insurance Agent (Training Available)

Atlantic Coast Insurance Agency is a 21 year old family business with 2 locations in Wilmington and Leland. We represent several insurance companies including Nationwide, Allstate and Progressive. We are interested in licensed bilingual agents or motivated bilingual individuals willing to get licensed for our Wilmington location. For unlicensed applicants, we will train and pay for licensing! Agents will have a competitive starting salary with commission and bonuses averaging over $10,000/yr with no cap on earning potential.

We are looking for a competitive insurance agent to sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate auto, home, and commercial insurance policies that match the needs of our customers. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our agency’s reputation. You will not need to purchase leads, the vast majority of our business walks in the door or calls in.

Responsibilities

Evaluate business or individual customers’ needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria

Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles

Maintain database and records

Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives

Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services

Fulfill all policy requirements

Skills

Proven working experience as an Insurance agent or relevant experience

Familiarity with property & casualty insurance (auto, home & commercial)

Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis

Proven ability to work with goals

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships

High school or BS degree

Property & Casualty License
