Description

Robert Half's client has an immediate need for a Data Analyst (BI Reporting) and is an employee opportunity. It will have a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office per week). Office is located on the North side of Raleigh, NC.

The Data Analyst (BI Reporting) will be responsible or involved in:
  • Printing
  • Debug Application
  • Windows OS
  • QA - Quality Assurance
  • Call Center Customer Service
  • Reporting
  • Performance Tuning
  • Reduce, Star Schemas
  • Data Integration
  • Business Intelligence Technologies
  • Workstation Support
  • Design
  • Test Reports
  • SSAS
  • Prototypes
  • Ad Hoc Reporting
  • Create Dashboards
  • Database
  • Data Modeling
  • ETL

Selling Point:

• 9 or 10 hour days, then ½ day off every other week or every week

Requirements

Must:

•DB design, Data Modeling, some DB design tool- they use Power Designer

•SQL skills- complex select statements (joins, unions, where conditions).Not stored procedures or triggers.Relation DB (we use mainframe DB2 - not required)

•ETL toolthey use iWay data integrator

•Reporting - Tableau dashboard, Actuate reporting(ideally Tableau developer, and some reporting tool)

Nice to have:

•FTP - Moveit (we use)

•Good communication skills (create tables, create data model will gather reqs from other teams)

•Documentation

•Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experienceORAssociates and 7 years of experience
