Business Support Manager / Workforce and Financial Planning Specialist role will be responsible for managing diverse business activities. You should possess excellent organization, leadership and communication skills.

This position requires strong relationship management skills to interact with senior leadership, managers and staff throughout the organization to deliver against organizational priorities.

Responsibilities may include: leadership and management of key routines, development of strategic and tactical plans, coordination of business activities across Network. Focus of role is resource and capital financial management including headcount, resource and vendor management (invoice processing) tracking.

This role support the overall budget process for the Network Services team.

As a Business Support Manager you role and responsibilities will be:

  • • Participate in workforce and financial reviews
  • Resource management (hiring requests and approvals, forecasting, on-boarding, contract/contractor management)
  • Participate in location strategy, organizational health, and financial reviews
  • Oversees key deliverables and ensure they are on time /accurate
  • Help manage initiative spending/recovery via the assigned tools
  • Establish and share best practices
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Proven business and operations knowledge/experience
  • The ability to influence peers/partners
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written

As a Business Support Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Prior experience handling multiple facets of running the business of technology: financial management, project management, process improvement, reporting, data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with peers and partners on a daily basis
  • Ability to adjust rapidly to changing demands and priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills with ability to use functions like v-look up, pivot tables, & charts
  • Highly analytical thinking along with ability to create reports
  • Ability to take data, perform analytics, make recommendations and drive to agreement across multiple departments
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely and accurate decisions
  • Excellent organization skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, and balance risk and reward
  • Executive presentation experience and strong verbal /written communication
  • Ability to influence and drive continuous process improvement
  • Strong business partnering experience / skills including the ability to interact, communicate, and influence equally well within all levels of the organization
