- The Senior Business Analyst will work as the liaison between business partners and the IT/FINSYS group to support existing systems and provide analysis for systems implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
- Review, analyze and refine business requests and ad hoc requirements, formulating system solutions to parallel overall business strategies. Identify, analyze, and develop business requirements for proposed projects, including but not limited to, data and process flows, application design and usability.
- Translate customer's needs into business requirement documents that can be presented to management, customers, development teams and vendors.
- Consider impact to current and future business environments and processes, assessing upstream & downstream effect of system and reporting changes.
- Review and provide input on IT functional designs related to assigned areas.
- Coordinate, monitor and support the user acceptance testing phase of the project life cycle.
- Perform intake of issues, validate and coordinate with IT for bug fix and retest.
- Develop user acceptance test plans associated with a variety of projects. The plans should include use cases, cross-team coordination requirements, data requirements, scenarios, timing considerations and expected results.
- Develop and maintain training and support materials used to educate the user community on changes made to business applications and processes.
- Support, coordinate and/or facilitate the training of users in various cross functional groups.
- Provide support, including researching and resolving production issues in accordance with established service levels.
- Troubleshoot issues by performing data analysis and researching coded functionality. Analyze, diagnose, define action and recommend, or as appropriate, work with IT to implement bug fixes and/or configuration changes.
- You enjoy finding ways to transform businesses from the inside out by helping them operate, communicate, and collaborate seamlessly.
- You are skilled at turning complex challenges into practical solutions.
- As a business analyst, you are fluent in all business languages. You help translate business needs into solutions by gathering requirements and communicating those to development teams.
- You have a strong understanding of project and problem management and can promote open communication among teams to ensure collaboration.
- 4+ years of IT business analyst experience.
- BA/BS in Business Analytics, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree required.
- Good understanding of CRM, ERP Tools like Salesforce, NetSuite.
- Detail oriented and experience with business requirements analysis.
- Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team.
- Ability to multi process and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven, sometimes unpredictable-but always fun and engaging environment.
- Experience with capturing business processes and functional requirements using standard requirement & modeling techniques.
- Participated in Business Process reengineering initiatives that impact major business applications transition like ERP, CRM Applications.
- Good understanding of Project Management, Change Management & Business Process Management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Hands on experience with various tools that support this job function like Confluence, JIRA, VISIO, Word, Excel etc.
