We offer a full aging service network with life plan communities, health care and home- and community-based services for older adults, as well as community outreach to those in need, that is unrivaled in the beautiful Sandhills region of North Carolina .St. Joseph of the Pines is currently seeking a part-time busser to join our team at the Belle Meade clubhouse located in Southern Pines, NC.Job Summary:The Part-time Busser will be responsible for providing assistance to the dining service staff in order to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all guests at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines NC. The successful candidate will be expected to provide prompt and courteous service while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Greet guests in a friendly manner when entering the dining area. Set tables with appropriate items, such as silverware, napkins and condiments. Clear dishes from table after meals are finished. Wipe down tables to ensure they remain clean throughout meal service periods. Assist wait staff in refilling beverages for guests as needed. Sweep and mop floors when necessary to keep them free of debris or dirt buildup. Ensure that all areas of the dining room are kept neat and organized at all times. Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications: Must have a friendly and outgoing personality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience working in food service is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of weight on occasion. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop and reach when necessary. Must be able to follow instructions and take direction from supervisors.
