Summary

This is an active, hands-on, and physical position centered around final assembly and finishing of casework, cabinetry, displays and fixtures. DAC Products is a growing manufacturer with youthful leadership and a passion for success. We need a team member to help us get products built, finished and shipped. Compensation

$20/hour – starting rate with minimum relevant experience and qualifications.

$22/hour – starting rate with provable direct experience and/or EN/ES bilingual.

Responsibilities

1. Assembly – construction knowledge and comprehension required!

Build cabinets, displays, and fixtures with supplied components.

Select and use correct fasteners and apply door/drawer hardware.

Use various hand tools to construct, adjust, and finish products.

Display confidence working independently and as part of a team.

2. Lamination – previous HPL surface finishing experience preferred!

Cut sheets to size with consideration of yield and grain directions.

Apply HPL to required surfaces using industrial spray adhesives.

Use hand/palm router and various files to smooth-finish edges.

Maintain a clean and tidy work area – this job can be messy.

3. Palletization – physical ability to safely manage heavy items needed!

Thoughtfully arrange and safely secure finished products to pallets.

Reference job documentation and supplied packaging instructions.

Review order documentation to account for items before approval.

Use material handling equipment to assist with pre-shipment prep.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and reliable transportation and attendance.

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineered drawings.

Capacity to regularly, and safely, lift oversized (large) and heavy (50+ lb.) items.

Qualifications

Prior experience in cabinetry, millwork, and/or furniture assembly environments.

Familiarity with general fabrication techniques, powered hand tools and equipment.

Proficient English/Spanish language skills. Bilingual candidates start at $22/hour!
