Monitor the calendar to ensure daily goals are meeting distribution requirements and review all additions to the calendar based on approved guidelines. Advise department management of any issues or concerns relative to exceptions outside calendar guidelines. Oversee partnership with regional operations staff.
Lead production planning and review meetings for department, including preparation of historic data to help establish current operations.
Oversee input and accuracy of all data that feeds other production planning and scheduling systems. Serve as point of contact for investigating any discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to guidelines to meet overall budget requirements in collaboration with department managers. Coordinate with relevant staff to maintain proper communication.
Train and mentor new staff on processes and new technologies.
Act as designee for manager leading the team, representing department in cross-functional projects, including serving as representative for the Advisory Council.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience required.Skills & Abilities: Must have working knowledge of applicable systems, must be able to communicate effectively and plan and utilize time efficiently, requires the knowledge of computer software including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Ability to work on a team.Travel: Travel to off-site locations may be required.The salary range for this position is $61,500.00-$63,000.00 / annually.Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average.
