Job Description: Training Developer/InstructorThe CISO Operations Portfolio is in need of a Training Developer/Instructor supporting its Incident Response (IR) program . This resource will be working with the Incident Response (IR) team to Will be responsible for instruction of Cyber and security related training. Serves as a Cyberspace Operations Training Developer/Instructor to identify, develop, tailor, deploy, and provide Cyber and/or security related training and will plan, develop, and assist in the implementation of Cyber and/or security training programs for the client, including Train-The-Trainer (TTT) items. Prepare lesson plans and training materials, design product demonstrations, develop course content, and conduct training.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions that have significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges requiring subject matter expertise.• Evaluate programs or functions, identify issues, and develop alternative solutions which may include changes to programs or functions.• Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program or function.• Represent the program or function within the department or team by committing resources and provide information and/or training. • Represent the program or function at the department or portfolio level and/or to external/internal stakeholders.• Lead and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include relationship development, communications, and compliance.• Assess training needs and recommend or develop associated training.• Support and maintain the logistics of training, testing, and exercises for the program or function• Schedules, coordinates, and conducts training classes, workshops, seminars, conferences, and meetings.• Promotes a culture of preparedness and readiness with department or function through regular training, drills, and exercises.• May serve as training, testing, and exercise liaison for the department or function with other federal agenciesQualification Requirements:• 3+ years’ experience with training, testing & exercise planning, and development• Familiarity with cybersecurity operation center functions• Experience working in a corporate information security office• Strong working knowledge of: • PCI standards• SOX compliance• Cybersecurity industry standards and best practices• Project management• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines• Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness• Demonstrated solid planning and organizational skills• Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team• Proven skills and success in developing trainings and leading complex exercise designs.• Weekday shift (M-F, 7AM-4PM) personnel in Morrisville, NC.Applicants must provide their phone number.
