  • Ability to be involved in the cutting-edge of the virtual healthcare space as a Citrix Engineer.
  • Be a part of a team aligned to Enterprise Engineering and Application Infrastructure, responsible for the following core areas for the enterprise:
    • Video Engineering
    • EPIC Client Systems
    • Core Systems Engineering
    • Client Engineering
  • Managing core applications for the leading healthcare provider in the South East. This is where "the rubber meets the road" and makes things work for the organization by serving applications via their Citrix environment.
  • Multiple high-impact projects from Systems/Platform Integrations to Data Center architecture and on-prem to cloud migrations on the horizon.
  • Managing over 20 load-balancing devices and 18,000 concurrent users.

THE LOCATION:

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Strong background and experience with Citrix engineering concepts and principles, including building networks and architecture.
  • Excellent skills with NetScaler and ADC. Ideal candidate will be aligned to about 60% in the NetScaler, load balancing space / 40% in the virtual apps and desktop space with Citrix.
  • Strong load balancing experience
  • Experience managing Active Directory and O365.
  • Ability to manage group policies.
  • DNS experience
  • Strong networking skills and IT infrastructure knowledge.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills - You'll be working closely with application teams and gathering requirements from vendors to build out load balancing requirements.
    • No Micromanagement - At the engineer level, you'll need to be able to take a project and run it in conjunction with a project manager.
    • Self Starter and Autonomous nature. Get it done attitude.
