Description We are in search of a Client Financial Associate based in Durham, North Carolina. The role is centered around finance and customer service within the healthcare industry. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Analyze and present financial reports in PDF and Excel formats. Assist in the development, analysis, interpretation, invoicing, reporting, and presentation of historical and/or forecasted financial claims, expense and stop loss coverage information. Support the preparation of invoicing and financial claims expense forecasts. Conduct reviews of employer groups' expenditures to ensure conformance to Administrative Agreement. Prepare Statement of account reconciliations, assist with the monthly run-out and final close-out activities, prepare schedules, etc. Process a variety of client transactions that may include suspend and/or hold of claims, Run out administrative fees and/or employer group settlement. Determine benefit eligibility for stop loss coverage on claims for specific claimants based on contract terms. Support the preparation of financials for loss coverage for employer groups or stop loss vendors based on actual high dollar claims, claimants’ performance, previous stop loss credits, estimated claims expense trend, expense reports, and other factors. Assist with quality reviews of operational inquiries to determine the accuracy of information provided and ensure employees are functioning at the expected level of service to enhance customer satisfaction. Support the preparation of reports and analysis for various audiences such as Self-Funded Groups, Employer Stop Loss Vendors, Sales, Underwriting, etc. Assist with compilation of data for internal/external audit.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Experience in customer service, with a focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Demonstrated skills in sales, with a strong ability to review, adjust, and manage invoices Ability to create clear and concise documentation, including financial reports and presentations Knowledge of finance principles and practices, including account reconciliation and cost analysis Familiarity with workstation support and external audit processes Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives Experience in handling vendors and managing contractual agreements Knowledge of medical coverage and healthcare benefits functions Familiarity with claim administration processes Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks as required by the organization Experience in verification processes, including financial adjustments Knowledge of HealthCare.gov regulations and requirements Ability to conduct variance analysis to evaluate financial performance Familiarity with hiring processes, including recruitment and onboarding Ability to provide support and assistance in benefit functions.
