• Develop data pipelines and other data products using Azure
• Advising peers on specific technologies and methodologies for utilizing cloud resources to efficiently ingest and process data quickly
• Utilizing your skills in engineering best practices to solve complex data problems
• Collaborating with end users, development staff, and business analysts to ensure that prospective data architecture plans maximize the value of client data across the organization
• Articulating architectural differences between solution methods and the advantages/disadvantages of each
• Migrating on-premises corporate applications and related data to the cloud
• Designing and deploying new applications directly in the cloud
• Researching and implementing cloud services to support cloud apps and maintain cloud services
• Monitoring cloud app performance for potential bottlenecks and resolving performance issues
• Identifying and implementing cost-saving strategies to reduce ongoing cloud expenses

• 5+ years of experience delivering solutions on a major cloud platform
  • Azure preferred
• Experience in modern big data solutions for 10+ TB databases
  • SQL Server preferred
• A wide range of production database experience, including substantial SQL expertise, database administration, and scripting data pipelines
  • Experience with SQL and Python.
• Nice to have exposure to Spark, Databricks, Kubernetes, Docker
• Various Cloud certification nice to have
• Motivated, self-started with an entrepreneurial mind-set.
