Job Description:This Cleared Cloud-Software Engineer position is designated as “critical” and will require the individual to work on-site at the Herndon, VA, however the RTP and Annapolis Junction locations will be considered. Some remote opportunity, but position will be working onsite most of the time. In this position, you will support mission essential application services used by both internal clients and Cisco customers. With a broad background in IT software development, you bring experience and understanding of design, implementation, deployment, and operational support of enterprise applications deployed within private/public/hybrid AWS cloud environments. Minimum Requirements:

1 - US Citizenship required due to US Gov. contractual requirements – No Green Card holders2 - Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph (FSP desired)3 - US Government support experience in a technical role developing or launching new application services, technologies, and capabilities in compliance with NIST 800-53 controls4 - Applied knowledge of Agile Methodologies, DevOps and traditional development methodologies with relevant experience in all phases of the Project Life Cycle.5 - Deep understanding of AWS Core services such as EC2, S3, IAM, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.6 - Experience working with the AWS CI/CD tool suite.7 - Infrastructure as Code experience, specifically working with Terraform.8 - Development experience is a plus in the following technologies: Python, Node.js, Docker, Lambda functions9 - Proficient in configuring, deploying, and auditing systems within AWS cloud, hybrid and on-prem computing environments

Desired Skills:

1 - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Sysops Administrator- Associate. Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional2 - DoD 8570 Industry Certification in one or more of the following: CISSP, CASP, Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE, CCNA
