Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Durham, North Carolina. This role will be primarily focused on managing customer accounts in the healthcare and biotech sectors, utilizing a variety of tools including SAP and Excel. Responsibilities: Handle collection tasks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution Utilize SAP and Excel to manage and track customer accounts Process billing and cash applications accurately and efficiently Offer excellent customer service in resolving customer inquiries and complaints Utilize Excel formulas to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting Regularly review customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Provide accounts receivable (AR) services, including management and tracking of all receivables Conduct regular monitoring of customer accounts to identify any potential issues or discrepancies Take appropriate action on customer accounts when necessary, such as initiating collections procedures. Requirements Proficient in Collections and Billing Collection procedures Demonstrated experience working with Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to use SAP software efficiently Proficiency in Excel Formulas Strong Customer Service skills Familiarity with Billing processes Experience with Cash Applications Ability to work in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
