Responsibilities:

The Communications Manager I will provide communications, content and editorial planning and writing support for the Developer Experience organization. The position will support content development, strategy and planning for line of business communication channels, including intranet sites, and contribute to LOB programs and projects. This role will work closely with teammates across Internal and Corporate Communications and LOB business partners.

Required Skills:

• Manage and maintain daily editorial calendars for communication channels and execute on content publishing and delivery

• Develop and write compelling content to support print and digital channels, including articles, announcements, employee spotlights and other posts

• Coordinate with graphic designers and communication partners to deliver engaging content and visuals along with ensuring accuracy and messageconsistency

• Manage reviews, approvals, edits and proofreading as needed

• Track communication channel usage and metrics as needed

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of corporate communications experience, including with consultancy or public relations agency

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex topics in conversational, easy-to-understand ways• Expertise creating compelling, executive-level presentations, especially in PowerPoint

• Exceptional project management and planning skills with strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple teams / partners

• Demonstrated ability to work with senior level managers as well employees throughout the organization

General Description:

Responsibilities are similar to those of the Communications Manager II; however associates focus on a segment of a major communications program. Has primary responsibility for leading a team or project that is accountable for the successful design, delivery, financial management, communication and/or administration of a company wide communication program. Communications maybe in the form of electronics, print, face-to-face, video or writing. Also responsible for the program's design and production and distribution. May have responsibility to manage, train and develop associates.
