Job Description
The Intelerad Marketing function is seeking a Communications Specialist who will report to the Corporate Communications Manager. This role will be responsible for supporting both the Marketing and Communications functions to ensure consistent and accurate messaging is shared with internal and external audiences. The Communications Specialist will assist in the end-to-end production of various communications projects, help drive the successful delivery of team goals, and become an integral part of a collaborative team. They will participate in corporate townhall planning and execution, content writing, social media and public relations planning, and other duties as assigned. The Communications Specialist will produce communications and develop materials to represent and increase the visibility of Intelerad’s corporate brand through internal and external channels, including website content and social media. This will require working with people across the organization of all levels to help create compelling, accurate content.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications, you will support the Corporate Communications Function
Content Creation and Content Management
Help draft, review, edit, and proofread internal and external communications, including talking points, social media, content, slide deck content, emails, and more
Help maintain and review corporate social media channels
Ensure that the content respects the objectives, targets, and tone of each project
Ensure the quality and consistency of written communication across the company for style, grammar, and clarity
Corporate Brand Management
Ensure the consistency of the brand image during the production of content, whether internally or through collaboration with external suppliers
Participate in the planning of and support internal and external corporate events
Support other team projects, initiatives, and campaigns as needed
As a member of the Marketing Team, you will play a critical, collaborative role in driving high-quality sales pipeline. We are an all-hands on deck Marketing Team!
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of related experience in a communications, public relations, or media relations role
Bachelor degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
Impeccable writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Fluency in verbal and written English required. Fluency in French Canadian a plus
Proficiency with the GSuite Environment preferred
Experience in corporate events coordination
Intermediate to advanced level in using Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe suite or other graphic content editing tools a plus
