Seva Connect has created an innovative way for organizations and non-profits to raise funds 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in the nation, through consumers daily purchases. In addition, each of these purchases will also provide a savings for the consumer and will help businesses grow, after all, it’s the sale of their products and services that makes this possible.
Our app allows consumers to save money, support causes, and strengthen their communities, simply by shopping with local businesses in the Seva Connect network. Every purchase = a donation + a discount.

Key Responsibilities
As a Community Engagement Partner, your mission is to plan and manage the Seva Connect events, games and program challenges by:
Engagement Activation: Collaborate with newly signed nonprofit organizations and businesses to design exciting, buzz-worthy engagement strategies that align with their values and fundraising goals.
Event & Campaign Design: Create and implement local events, games, pop-ups, scavenger hunts, or social media challenges that build community momentum while driving Seva Connect platform usage.
Fundraising Integration: Ensure all activations are tied to measurable fundraising outcomes through the Seva Connect model (i.e., coupon redemptions, purchase-linked donations, referral tracking).
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, business owners, and nonprofit leaders. Serve as their creative consultant and engagement advisor.
Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with internal marketing teams to develop promotional materials, digital assets, and storytelling content to amplify your events and initiatives.
Performance Reporting: Track participation, fundraising success, community feedback, and partner satisfaction for continuous improvement and case study creation.
Ideal Candidate
Must be based in Charlotte, NC
You have 2+ years of experience in community engagement, event planning, fundraising, or grassroots marketing.
You’re a people-person who naturally builds trust and excitement across diverse groups.
You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are comfortable taking initiative.
You have a creative mind—games, pop-ups, collaborations, giveaways… you’re full of ideas.
You’re results-oriented and can tie fun to function (i.e., impact and revenue).
You understand or are eager to learn how tech platforms like Seva Connect can support community-based fundraising.
Experience working with nonprofits, small businesses, or social enterprise is a plus.
