Description We are seeking a Consultant for our Accounting Advisory team. In this role, you will work closely with our clients on various accounting projects, including operational due diligence for complex transactions and preparation of financial and regulatory information. Your expertise in accounting standards and processes will enable you to support our clients in carving out their business units and implementing process improvements.Responsibilities: Execute operational due diligence for complex transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, and debt raises Participate in accounting projects that focus on the separation of business units or subsidiaries Collaborate with client’s internal staff, providing expert guidance on operational senior accounting tasks and overall financial team support Prepare and present financial and regulatory information in line with SEC and regulatory requirements Conduct research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards Lead process improvement projects and oversee the implementation of changes Process and maintain customer credit applications and records accurately and efficiently Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing procedures Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and analyze financial dataRequirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or advisory role Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite financial software Proficiency in using Oracle financial management system Experience with QuickBooks accounting software Familiarity with SAP financial software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
