WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

This role is seeking a QA DATA Automation Tester to join a growing organization. The position requires a candidate with at least 3+ years' experience developing and executing automated scenarios and testing backend ETL/SQL-Oracle/Airflow/AWS + Glue.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

Principal Expectations:
  • Ability to create a framework for ETL testing
  • Relevant work experience in testing backend applications primarily involving complex SQL queries
  • Creating SQL scripts based on ETL mapping documents to compare data outputs
  • Expertise in database testing
  • Data Warehouse automation experience
  • Strong digital and mobile experience and testing background with bank and brokerage experience
  • Able to exercise independent thought and judgment and adapt to new tasks
  • Ability to design and implement testing methods for both end to end, and individual service layers of the application stack
  • Passion to keep up with the latest trends in web/mobile automation and appropriate technologies available
  • Ability to work effectively with managing time and meeting critical deadlines
  • Provide performance benchmark documentation of candidate releases
  • Experience working closely with development, product, and management teams in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Must be able to multi-task while managing time and priorities effectively
  • Must have hands on programming automation experience using SQL/Oracle (or equivalent technologies) and provide support in these tools and development as required

Mandatory Skills:
  • 2+ years of hands-on QA DATA automation experience
  • 3+ years in Digital banking experience
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience ?
  • Experience in utilizing commercial and open-source test tools to include planning, analysis, execution, and interpretation of test results (Testing effort covers functional, regression, and integration)
  • Experience with JAVA, Cucumber, SQL, Oracle or equivalent
  • Able to work in a highly visible, fast paced, changing environment.
  • Very familiar with the Agile and system development life cycle.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of or experience working in financial services and/or other regulated environments is preferred
