We are looking for a Contracts Manager for a contract to hire role with a fantastic, thriving company! You’ll need to be local to the Raleigh area and work onsite 3 days per week. Employment Type: Contract-to-HireDuration: 6 monthsLocation: Raleigh, NC - 3 days on site 2 days remote (hybrid)You’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive and proactive contract management and project management skills and services in support of the organization's Contracting processes. As the key point of contact within the organization's centralized contracts management model, the Contracts Manager (CM) will coordinate all contract review, approval and signature activities. You will review, prepare, and advise internal clients on vendor contracts. The CM will be a key point of contact for all procurement related contracting needs and will coordinate closely with Sourcing, Finance and Legal on matters requiring negotiation, approval and other contract-related issues. You’ll manage the Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management system as system administrator, supporting all NA based colleagues. If requested, subject matter expertise and best practice will also be provided to colleagues and teams that desire to launch Icertis in their BU/region. You’ll be responsible for system upgrades, ongoing process improvements and enhancements, training users and new hires, troubleshooting, and assembling and collaborating with a cross-functional group of champions within the business. The CM will also liaise with Finance and IT to ensure alignment between Icertis, SAP ERP and Ariba processes.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree and/or graduation from an accredited paralegal program
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience or equivalent education/experience, e.g. working as a contracts administrator/contracts manager in a corporate procurement or law department or similar experience working in a health care related company, with demonstrated history of progressive responsibilities.
- Experience in legal contract review and management
- Demonstrated project management, interpersonal, planning, organizational, time management and decision making skills are essential, as is the ability to train others, develop education materials and deliver training, create and maintain databases and logs
- High level of proficiency with business systems (Sharepoint, MS Word, Powerpoint; MS Excel)
- Strong preference for candidates with specific corporate-related experience gained in a pharmaceutical/ bio-tech environment
- Strong preference for candidates with experience working with electronic contracts management systems (specifically, Icertis)
- No 3rd parties, no sponsorship, must be local to Raleigh, NC and work onsite 3 days per week.
