Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others. Ensures that the delivery of services to customers are appropriate and in accordance with established policies, procedures, objectives and financial guidelines.

Leads and participates on teams to achieve targeted results.

Provides input to Director on decision-making, problem solving, financial and operational issues related to area activities.

Provides work coordination, scheduling of employees, monitors overtime and reports to Director.

Acts as liaison between team members, management, and other teams.

Provides input for workplan and participates in the execution of workplan(s) for assigned area.

Collaborates with other team leaders and management to ensure optimal efficiency throughout the area.

Effectively facilitates and leads team activities and provides feedback to Director regarding team members' performance.

Maintains inventory management reports and develops new reports as needed.

Records consumption rate and characteristics of items in storage to determine par levels in the Storeroom, and works with Clinical Managers to determine par levels for clinical carts.

Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.

Issues stock through perpetual system requested via electronic requisitioning from customer departments.

Conducts and reconciles inventory cycle counts. Participates in quarterly and year-end physical inventory counts and provides accurate bin locations.

Transmits Central Supply orders to Purchasing. Balances stock issued, stock received, and adjustments against physical inventory.

Other InformationOther information: Education Requirements: ● Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Licensure/Certification Requirements: Professional Experience Requirements: ● With an Associate's degree, one year related experience and/or training. ● With a high school diploma, five (5) yeas of related experience and/or training. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: ● Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
