Description We are searching for a skilled Copywriter to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the overall content strategy, performing competitive analysis, making recommendations for optimizing page content, and writing engaging content for social media marketing campaigns. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Formulate the overall content strategy and provide recommendations for marketing initiatives across various industries. Conduct competitive analysis and research to enhance client marketing campaigns and materials. Generate ideas for content, viral campaigns, and engaging conversations to extend campaign reach. Write compelling content for social media marketing campaigns to virally increase clients’ brand recognition. Collaborate with the Creative Director and Digital Marketing Director to improve internal processes and introduce new tools and methods. Research and analyze industry trends and stay up-to-date on all ethical and effective marketing techniques. Provide training and guidance to less-experienced marketing team members. Assist with developing proposals and other internal sales and marketing materials. Interface daily with clients and internal team members, including marketing, account executives, designers, developers, and other copywriters. Collaborate with the Copy Editor to edit copy provided by clients to align with brand standards and proo copy in creative concepts and final deliverables. Research topics and conduct interviews with clients and subject matter experts to gather content and direction.Requirements Proven experience in copywriting for various platforms such as websites, social media, press releases and video scripts. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Wordpress CMS. Strong prooing skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns. Excellent research skills to develop original and engaging content. Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application in copywriting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Creative thinker with a knack for crafting compelling narratives. Knowledge of current industry trends and multimedia platforms. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
