Description We are seeking a meticulous and customer-focused individual to join our team in the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Customer Service Representative. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where the main function will be to provide exceptional service to our customers, primarily through phone and email correspondence. Responsibilities: Answering inbound calls in a detail oriented and courteous manner, serving as the first point of contact for customer inquiries. Providing high-quality customer service by resolving customer concerns and maintaining up-to-date account information. Processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Maintaining accurate records of customer credit information. Taking proactive measures to monitor customer credit accounts and initiating action to collect overdue payments. Performing data entry tasks to update customer records and order entries. Scheduling appointments as necessary and ensuring all customer interactions are recorded. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and organize customer data. Working within a fast-paced call center environment, adapting to changes with agility. Troubleshooting product issues effectively, maintaining a single point of contact for customers throughout the process. Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Experience in Call Center Customer Service and answering inbound calls Strong customer service skills Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls Skilled in data entry Experience in email correspondence Familiarity with order entry procedures Ability to schedule appointments effectively Experience or knowledge in the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Ability to work in a team environment High school diploma or equivalent educational level Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes High level of professionalism and ethics.
