This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.The anticipated term of this engagement will be 12 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.CW-Information Systems Analyst IIThe Systems Analysis job participates in the designing of information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Working under general supervision, this job is responsible for analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system and preparing the design of possible systems solutions.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Defines system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
Prepares flow charts, models, and procedures and conducts feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
Prepares technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
Analyzes and proposes revisions to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
Assists in the development of training sessions and demos for end users.
Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary.

This job is responsible for examining and identifying data patterns and trends to support business and technology operations under limited supervision. Exceptional communication required, with ability to adjust approach based on audience.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Applies mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques that determine market conditions, project consumer needs and inform business initiatives
Utilizes trends found from modeling to inform other lines of business such as product development and customer experience
Creates data mining models, statistical reporting and data analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and to simulate impact of potential future business decisions
Identifies areas of opportunity and risk through data analysis and modelling
Provides information for additional research and analysis in line with statistical methodology
Partners with other areas of the business to model the potential outcomes of implementing various business strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred
3-Years Required; 5-years Preferred
Proficiency with Python and associated data science libraries
SQL experience and command of query design and optimization
Knowledge of different types of databases (e.g. relational, document, key/value) as well as experience with particular implementations and cloud versions such as Snowflake
Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to identify specific business opportunities and use data to support decision making.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities. Work independently or on a team.
Ability to exercise judgment as it relates to business decisions and their effects on stakeholders. Critical thinking skills.
Must be a fast learner and willing to learn independently

Preferred Qualifications
Machine learning background with an understanding of the following areas: supervised and unsupervised learning methods, reinforcement learning, deep learning, Bayesian inference, graphical modeling, or nonlinear/stochastic optimization
Data science and machine learning platforms like SageMaker, Domino Data Lab
ML models using Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow
Financial Industry background
