For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: www.e15group.comJob SummaryIn the Data Engineer (SQL) role you will have the opportunity to work in a large modern data stack, actively contributing to our 10tb+ analytics data warehouse. Your stakeholders will primarily be internal Business Analysts and BI Developers. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong business acumen, the ability to ask questions to understand requirements, and the technical skills to implement long-lived models into business-critical data products.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & implement data models from a wide variety of sources in Snowflake using dbt

Refine technical requirements of data models with product stakeholders

Collaborate with other data engineers, including code reviews and peer programming

Maintain and contribute to our codebase using Git & CI/CD within Azure DevOps

Effectively manage work items within the team backlog

Apply an analyst mindset to the data model development

REQUIRED SKILLS

2+ years of hands-on SQL development within a data warehouse

Experience supporting analysts & business intelligence teams

Git proficiency

Strong business acumen

PREFFERED SKILLS

2+ years of data & analytics experience

Developer collaboration experience in version control (Git)

dbt

Python

Snowflake

AWS

Experience with hospitality or education data a plus
