Data Governance Analyst

To support that challenge, Syngenta Seeds R&D team is currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst in Durham, NC.This role will establish and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability within Seeds R&D.Accountabilities Create and maintain a culture of Data Governance by partnering with functional data owners to promote best practices, standards, principles, and policies.Facilitate and promote the usage and adoption of data governance tools, processes, and procedures among functional business users.  Monitor data quality metrics to understand the health of data and impacts on business results.Lead the resolution of data quality issues discovered by data quality reporting.  Develop and deploy active/passive data governance initiatives to identify and resolve data inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or redundancies.Implement day-to-day needs of the data governance and data quality program.Recommend and implement policies and procedures for data governance approved by the Data Governance council and team.Identify data quality opportunities and drive compliance with data governance and quality initiatives.Ensure data governance opportunities are identified and addressed throughout the project life cycle.
