Responsibilities include:• Establish a vision for Department data governance and enablement• Oversee all Data Governance related activities• Manage a team of Data Governance staff• Coordinate Data Stewards- experts on specific datasets across the department• Support data stewards in documenting limitations and bias within data• Lead deployment and use of data annotation tool as a component of enterprise data management platform• Oversee annual data asset inventory update across Divisions• Refine data sharing policies as best practices are developed• Serve as a resource for Data Owners across DHHS on data sharing policies and protocols• Coordinate with DHHS legal counsel on relevant rules and regulations for data sharing• Oversee data request process• Develop and manage a Department-wide data quality improvement strategyKnowledge/SkillsExperience with data governance including data management, data sharing, and data quality assessment and improvement• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Experience leading a team• Empathy and problem-solvingEducationBachelor’s or Masters (preferred) in a data-related or data-intensive fieldNW-684687.docxRTR-684687.docx
