We accomplish this through implementation of policies, processes, controls, and metrics that promote compliance with global regulations.The Impact: This role will support our enterprise privacy function, working with each of our Divisions and Corporate Functions to lead the incident management process to resolution and logging and categorizing incidents to improve incident management protocols. You will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the team and advancing the strategic initiatives of our information governance and data privacy program.What’s in it For You:In this role, you will:

Work with each Division and Corporate Function across the enterprise.

Be an integral part of enhancing and developing the Information Governance and Data Privacy Compliance program, working with executive leadership to drive our incident response process.

Drive your success. Take ownership of the incident management process, reporting, and remediation planning.

Responsibilities:The Data Incident Manager is responsible for:

Overseeing the incident management process and team members involved in resolving a reported incident.

Responding to a reported incident, identifying the cause, and initiating the incident management process.

Prioritizing incidents according to their urgency.

Producing documents that formalize incident protocols, including data handling errors or how to correct procedural failures.

Collaborating with the incident management team to verify that all protocols are appropriately followed. Logging all incidents and their resolution to identify if there are recurring matters or patterns of activity.

Adjusting the incident management process as required to maintain its effectiveness.

Communicating with management as appropriate. Managing incident team members by re-assigning workloads and re-scheduling non-urgent tasks.

Assisting the Data Privacy legal team with cyber incident response coordination, as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

BA/BS degree from an accredited university

Detailed knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, especially as it relates to global data breach response requirements

1 – 2 years operational or project management experience in a Legal, IT, Compliance, Finance, or Data Analytics role

Experience with incident management (Cyber, Data, or Data Loss) with enough regulatory knowledge to make initial risk-level decisions and notification decisions

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,300 to $127,500. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
