Desktop Support Analyst

Description:A large healthcare provider is a not-for-profit medical system owned by the State of North Carolina and based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. They currently are made up of 9 hospitals across the state of NC from Asheville to Goldsboro. Two consultants are needed to join the Desktop Support team.They'll be doing break/fix tickets and service requests 75% of the time, and 25% of the time they will be supporting projects. Some projects could include collapsing domains, imaging and rolling out machines for Windows 10. They will also be spending some time supporting asset management.Some of the break fix issues could be related to PCs, Printers and other peripheral devices (connectivity), why applications aren't running, putting machines into AD.They use Bomgar to do remote support, they have desktops and VDI. Vocera Support for their Voice Environment, and Empravada Badge Access. Citrix environment, some basic EPIC support as well.Attitude, aptitude and a desire to make a difference in a healthcare setting are key for success in this role. It is a long-term rolling contract with the potential to go FTE after 6 months.
