Description:This local Health Care System is a not-for-profit medical system owned by the State of North Carolina. This healthcare client is one of the biggest hospital systems in the Carolinas. They currently are made up of 9 hospitals across the state of NC from Asheville to Goldsboro. Two consultants are needed to join the Desktop Support teamThey'll be doing break/fix tickets and service requests 75% of the time, and 25% of the time they will be supporting projects. Some projects could include collapsing domains, imaging and rolling out machines for Windows 10. They will also be spending some time supporting asset management.Some of the break fix issues could be related to PCs, Printers and other peripheral devices (connectivity), why applications aren't running, putting machines into AD.They use Bomgar to do remote support, they have desktops and VDI. Vocera Support for their Voice Environment, and Empravada Badge Access. Citrix environment, some basic EPIC support as well.This Manager has a strong passion for healthcare IT as he crew up with parents in the medical field.Attitude, aptitude and a desire to make a difference in a healthcare setting are key for success in this role. It is a long-term rolling contract with the potential to go FTE after 6 months.
