Job Description: Senior SAP MDG Application Developer
Remote opportunity
The Senior SAP MDG Developer will be a key member of the Global Data Governance Center of Excellence. Master Data Management developer will lead the development, configuration, and integration efforts for SAP MDG Tool. Candidates should have experience defining SAP S4/Hana MDG architecture and functional use of the solution across Material, Customer, and Financial data domains. Critical to the role will be to guide business and data teams to maximize the use of the SAP MDG platform, maintain the MDG technical roadmap and advise / support new projects that will require master data from the MDG platform.
Responsibilities
The Senior SAP MDG Application Developer is accountable for ensuring the SAP MDG application is well controlled, operating effectively and aligned with business needs. In addition to daily business support tasks, this role is responsible for assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
o 5+ years of SAP MDG experience required
o Understanding of SAP ECC and or S4/ HANA preferred
o Significant experience with master data management processes and technology including developing data models and maintaining master data records within SAP MDG
o Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
o Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks while meeting aggressive deadlines
o Work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
o Experience working with Global teams
o Experience in operating in and Agile environment
o Knowledge in REST/SOAP architectural principles and patterns with API/JSON, XML experience.
