DevOps Engineer

For a financial client we need DevOps Engineer. This position is based in Durham, NC or Westlake, TX. We are Primarily looking for W2 Candidates and not looking for Third Party Candidates. The Expertise We are Looking For

• Evaluate ever-changing technology stack as set by Enterprise Architecture to ensure all Medicare applications adhere to the approved stack
• Be on top of technology for DevOps and implement latest methodologies and minimize potential risk and exposure
• Craft and develop cloud observability solutions, dashboards, and alerts for multiple AWS services
• Hands-on experience to configure, implement automated build and deploy pipelines- using Jenkins and Java
• Help achieve and maintain the highest DevOps Maturity levels for the Medicare applications
• Integrate Quality Gates (Sonar-Cube, Veracode, etc.) and threshold checks working closely with the peers and development squads
• Maintain the detailed documentation, diagrams, and knowledge base
• Increase observability using enterprise approved technology like DataDog, Splunk Cloud etc.
• Participate in DevOps forums across the enterprise to adopt and implement best practices
• Monitor releases and help with any deploys and other critical tasks

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years in the DevOps / SRE space
• Hand on experience with automation using Jenkins, Quality gates and observability
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
• 2+ years working in Agile development environment
• Experience with AWS and its technologies like Cloud Formation, Lambda is critical for this role
