Director, Marketing Data ScienceThe Director of TIAA Marketing Channel Data Science & Optimization is responsible for implementing the advanced analytics, measurement, and reporting capabilities that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing across channels.This role will work closely with marketing, digital experiences team, and technology team to understand the end-to-end user journey and deploy innovative strategies to shape and optimize the user experience and drive ROI.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Leveraging data, insights, and MarTech capabilities, this role will collaborate with stakeholders to develop campaign strategies, create audience segments, establish robust measurement strategies, and optimize ongoing campaign performance.
The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of marketing analytics and operation workflows, with experiences in assisting teams in establishing marketing KPIs, measurement frameworks, experimental design, attribution modeling, personalization, and optimization of targeting and creative strategies across marketing channels.
Combine business knowledge and holistic company strategy with historical data to develop models for use in forecasting, media targeting, attribution, and measuring lifetime customer value
Create presentations with actionable findings, insights, and recommendations to all levels of the organization.
Manage and scale the data science function for our marketing channels. Grow the organization, mentor and maintain a high bar of analytical depth for your team.

BS or MS in business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Math, Statistics, or equivalent).
5+ years of work experience managing analytics teams, working collaboratively with Engineering and cross-functional partners, and/or guiding data-influenced product planning, prioritization and strategy development.
5+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis, experimentation, A/B testing, regression, data mining, and/or the presentation of data to develop strategies.
Ability to lead and execute core analytics methodologies (regression analysis, factor analysis, decision trees, cluster analysis, etc.).
Solid proficiency in SQL/Python/R.
Experience with MS Azure, Snowflake, Tableau, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and/or Salesforce.
Experience initiating and driving projects to completion autonomously, with aptitude to train internal stakeholders on how to use and understand a variety of analytics tools.
