This position will be based in Wendell, NC.Overview:The Director of Quality Management role’s responsibilities include management and oversight during product development , general release, and end of life of global and regional products via QMiP engineers. In addition, the role includes management of QM functions supporting factories in Wendell and Heber Springs along with QM interface and support for ANSI products coming from global factories in Mexico, Germany, and Australia.Responsibilities:
Leading the two US local Quality Management (QM) Teams of 10 and be the in-company manager of the regional Global Customer Care (GCC).
Ensure the global Electrification and Automation standard processes implemented in your locations as well as necessary Certifications.
You will be supported in a direct reporting line by BU QM&GCC Quality Sub function Manager from Headquarters in Germany.
Aligning and implementing the yearly strategy including the respective budget with your Sub function Manager.
You will work on continuously improvement measures on the products and processes in collaboration with all respective functions.
Drive your team and the business values to success with focus on preventive actions.
You have the authority to stop unsafe work, production, and processes if the corresponding quality is not fulfilled.
Empower and support a professional and diverse team to develop their proficiencies to the next level.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science. Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 10 Years Leadership experience focused on empowering and developing a diverse team to success.
Good communication skills.
Enjoys working in an international environment.
Profound knowledge of core quality methods like FMEA and Value Stream Management.
Certified auditor for ISO 9001, pref. ISO 14001|ISO 45001.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in technical engineering or equivalent.
Experience in Medium Voltage/Protection and Automation products would be beneficial.

The pay range for this position is $138,100 - $236,800 and the annual incentive target is 20% of the base salary The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
