- Provide technical assistance, solution design, and hands on development support for security controls for a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program
- Administration of the enterprise DLP infrastructures (e.g. maintenance, configuration, and policy management)
- Identification and resolution of incidents impacting the DLP system or related components
- Provide technical assistance, solution design, and hands on development support for security controls for an enterprise CASB program
- Experience working with CASB and DLP technologies, including a technical understanding of how data in motion, data at rest, and data in use is monitored
- Experience with automating DLP incidents and escalations (e.g., response rules, API, SOAR)
- Build information security polices based on predefined compliance obligations
- Support various teams in understanding incident alerts from DLP tools and offer guidance
- Support and assist the security and risk teams with security incidents, and to design new policies to identify and mitigate risk
- Participate in developing and providing operational documentation to ensure a well-managed and mature security infrastructure
- Minimum 5+ years of previous DLP experience
- Highly technical and analytical expertise, with a proven deep background (preferred 5+ years IT experience in addition to cybersecurity) in technology design, implementation, and delivery.
- Knowledge and experience creating and maintaining policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documents
- Minimum of four years information security specific experience with DLP technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintaining DLP rules and policies.
- Knowledge and experience with regulatory structures (i.e. GDPR, PCI DSS, PII, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience creating and maintaining policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documents
- Provide complex technical guidance, oversight, and enforcement of security directives, policies, standards, plans, and procedures
- Cross-functional understanding of DLP operations, security practices and the user experience
- Develop project documentation including detailed security plans, security architecture designs, detailed security implementation and deployment plans, test plans, and security-focused operational procedures and training materials
- Scripting experience (e.g., API interaction using PowerShell, bash script, file scripting, etc.)
- Ability to perform data analysis using standard office productivity software.
- Strong knowledge of current cyber security threats and techniques, as well as a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current cyber security products.
- A strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.
- Must be willing to work after-hours and weekends when technical issues arise which require immediate resolution
