- Participates in the project planning process with clients, business analysts and team members.
- Partners with various groups to identify, analyze and document business objectives and requirements by performing analysis and developing the necessary documentation to define, justify, launch and execute projects.
- Formulates and defines application specifications and systems scopes and objectives based on user needs.
- Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse existing code
- Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to identify business priorities and advise on options
- Knowledge in various verticals like Manufacturing, Retail/Wholesale, Drop ship, Market Places, B2B and B2C in apparel industry
- Must be able to work closely with internal business and external customers to define solutions around different business scenarios
- Strong knowledge in Order-to-Cash (Demand), Procure-to-Pay (Supply) and data movement
- Interface knowledge around Warehouse Management, Global Logistics/Transportation Management and Manufacturing/Sourcing
- Experience advocating and proliferating best practices in gathering requirements, analysis, design, data integrity, test/validation, reporting and documentation
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams to facilitate the necessary business changes
- Quick learner with a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and ability to work in a team environment with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 or more years of experience in application design, development, testing, installation, modification of software and delivery of solutions
- Integration experience across ERP's and Applications with core experience in IBM Sterling B2Bi/API 5.x and above, API Management and exposure to Axway/VAN, SAP and Manhattan WM
- Able to support any file format EDI, EDIFACT, Tradacoms, XML, JSON, CSV, Positional, IDOC(s), etc.
- Experience with product catalogs, Global Data Sync, orders, shipments, invoices
- Hands on experience in partner onboarding and business process orchestration us IBM Sterling B2Bi/API
- Must have technical experience in B2Bi mapping, APIs, business process development
- Strong knowledge around IDOC(s): Materials, Orders, Shipments, Invoices, FICO, etc.,
- Strong general knowledge around communications and networking concepts supporting multiple protocols like (s)ftp, http(s), TCP/IP, REST/SOAP
- Exposure to Unix/Linux OS, Windows, Oracle databases, Java, Unix scripting and Autosys jobs
- Experience in Office 365 for documentation, tracking and reporting.
