job summary:
Position Summary:The Engagement analyst will work with the Engagement lead to initiate and conduct meetings with lines of business that have needs to discover and protect dataResponsibilities:- Candidate will provide overviews, understand the business issue and identify a solution along with an estimate and timeline based on estimated models that will be created.
- Recommendations should be a fit for a high-tech environment and take into consideration different approaches depending on the level of automation in different teams within EDPP.
- The candidate will perform analysis on the data to determine whether an engagement should be included in the system of record or a pass through.
- Help with determining estimates
- Candidate will follow through during the entire engagement phase. Once funding is approved, work would be turned over to the respective team to start planning.
- Non-Technical Skills
- 2-3 years business analysis experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to create user documentation and document workflow processes
- Individual must possess excellent soft skills including presentation, communication, knowledge sharing, decision making
- Ability to recognize and record the need for processing improvements and take a leadership role in pursuing the best course of action.
- Ability to work independently; communicate with offshore/onshore resources
- Ability to review new technologies as applicable solutions to new or existing problems
- Demonstrated experience in driving and leading projects to successful completion
- Knowledge of sensitive data (public, proprietary, confidential)
- A general knowledge of a project lifecycle and management skills. Understanding of SDLC and AGILE development practices.
- Knowledge of data protection topics such as discovery, protection, and privacy
- Role will require resource to have an in depth understanding of metadata, data classification and discovery and protection solutions
