Experienced Lead Carpenter Wanted

Broad River Builders is seeking a journeyman level lead carpenter.

Responsibilities:

-Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential and/or commercial projects

-Perform hands-on carpentry including framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work

-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

-Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards

-Train and mentor apprentices and junior carpenters

-Maintain a safe and organized work environment

-Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors

Qualifications:

-Minimum 6+ years of carpentry experience at the journeyman level

-Proven experience leading crews and job sites

-Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction practices

-Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively-

-Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
