CACI has an outstanding opportunity for select Expert GIS Integrations Engineer that want to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their talents and experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment in support of US Special Operations Command. The opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in planning, implementing, and developing GIS applications and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC.

You will use advanced development techniques to perform complex analysis, design and modification of GIS applications and databases. The Expert GIS Integrations Engineers conduct development, deployment, and maintenance of both custom and ad-hoc geospatial applications supporting intelligence analysis workflows.

You should have excellent communication skills to include technical writing and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. You should have the ability and willingness to continue to expand your knowledge and experience base to be detail oriented and to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines. You should have exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities, including troubleshooting technical issues, successfully resolving project issues and challenges, and developing creative solutions for process improvement and understanding user requirements.

Using your knowledge and experience you will recommend innovative technologies to enhance the presentation and usage of enterprise GIS products and provide integrated systems planning.

Required
  • Top Secret Clearance AND meet the requirements of DCID 6/4
  • Have eight years system integration and development experience
  • Ability to create and develop custom tools utilizing RDMBS, NoSQL data stores, and distributed process of large datasets.
  • Performs high level/expert intelligence systems development design and evaluation.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • Capable of performing as a team and effectively directing subordinates
  • High level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data
  • Proficient in C# and Python programming languages
  • Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01
Desired:

Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience in the intelligence community and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
