Fabric Installer / Seamstress for Custom Canopy Bed (Greensboro / High Point)

Compensation: $23–$28 per hour

Bonus: $250 signing bonus for the right fit

We’re looking for a skilled fabric installer or seamstress to help with an exciting, meaningful project — installing custom fabric panels onto a prototype canopy bed.

This project is part of a mission-driven effort to design specialized beds for children with autism and other neurodivergencies who experience sleep challenges. The work is hands-on, creative, and impactful.

The ideal person:

- Has experience with cut-and-sew projects, upholstery, or fabric installation

- Is comfortable installing zippers, foam, and fabric panels onto wood or furniture frames

- Is detail-oriented and able to work independently on a project that’s still being refined

- Can problem-solve and adapt as needed — this is a prototype, not a mass-production job

- Is reliable, communicative, and ready to start right away

Details:

- Pay: $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience

- Bonus: $250 signing bonus for the right fit

- Start: Immediately after interview if selected

- Location: Greensboro, NC (on-site with a local furniture manufacturer)

- Schedule: Flexible hours, roughly 20–30 hours per week over the next few weeks
