Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Field Project Manager - Hyperscale to join our team. This position is based at our Arden, NC location and is a remote position. Relocation assistance will be offered. Position Overview: The primary function of a Field Based Project Manager (PM) is to own Eaton’s largest, most complex and highest risk electrical projects from order entry to equipment start-up and commissioning. The PM role is expected to create value for the Eaton sales team, product divisions and customers, acting as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all project milestones are met. This position focuses on data center projects for large, hyperscale customers. The primary functions include managing the technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for all deliverables including but not limited to customer relationship management, project financial management, technical project management, documentation (submittals, engineered drawings, maintenance manuals etc.), coordination of equipment manufacture and delivery, equipment/assembly startup support and addressing quality concerns.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to perform order transition from sales and clean order entry

Build and maintain a project communications plan, maintaining strong customer relationships (including our channel partners) throughout the project lifecycle

Build and maintain and communicate a project schedule (milestone matrix) with internal and external stakeholders

Oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of projects at a component, assembly and electrical system level

Build and communicate a project financial baseline; drive the project financials utilizing a change log optimizing any opportunity to advance the projects financial position through proactive change management

Coordinate factory witness testing

Coordinate equipment startup after installation at the site

Engage with broader project management organization on the continuous improvement of our systems, processes and tools

Coordinate warranty and non-warranty repairs and returns, which include shipping issues or service requests

Project manage small to medium projects on as needed basis

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $87,552 - $120,384 a year. Eligible for an annual performance-based incentive plan with a target at 25% of base salary. Minimum five (5) years of electrical industry experience

Experience in project management and the project management process

Possess and maintain a valid & unrestricted driver’s license

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

PMP Certification

Strong application of engineered power products

5+ years of electrical experience and/or project management experience

Marketing, sales or project management experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial markets
